School Physical Activity

Regular physical activity helps students succeed in school – and in life!

In addition to keeping kids healthy and strong, being active for 60 minutes each day has been shown to:

  • Increase concentration and focus
  • Improve classroom attendance and behavior
  • Boost academic performance

As the places where kids spend a majority of their time, schools are important places for kids to experience and enjoy being active.  That’s why, in collaboration with schools, PartnerSHIP 4 Health works to improve and increase opportunities for physical activity within the school day.
